Every party has a moment where a parent looks around the room and does a quick headcount of whose children are where. In a public venue, that calculation involves other people's children, other people's music, and the other party's cake on the table next to yours.
At The Willows, there is no "other party". There is only yours.
The whole venue is the party
When you book the Party package, the heated pool, the Jacuzzi, the changing rooms and the loungers are exclusively yours for three hours. No lifeguards pacing the edge, no strangers in the water, no staff hovering over your catering. Friday evenings 6-9pm, or Saturday and Sunday mornings 10am-1pm - times that suit birthdays, hens and everything in between.
Bring your own everything
- Food and drink. Your catering, your cake, your inside jokes. There's a fridge in the outdoor seating area to keep it all cool until it's needed.
- Music. The venue has a full sound system. Bring a playlist, or take control of YouTube on the big screen to play the favourites.
- Decorations. Balloons, banners, themes - go as far as you like. Get in touch if you'd like us to help set it up.
- Photos. With nobody else around, you can take the poolside photos you actually want - no waiting for strangers to clear the frame.
Why privacy matters most for kids' parties
A public pool is loud, echoey and full of unknown adults. For many children - particularly those with anxiety, sensory sensitivities or disabilities - that's not a party, that's a survival exercise. In a completely private pool, the children know every face in the water, the volume is theirs to control, and the gentle 30-32°C water does the rest. Every parent gets to relax too, because there's no other family's safety to worry about.
A few golden rules
Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children under 5 shouldn't use the Jacuzzi. Food stays out of the pool area, drinks stay out of the water, and no smoking or vaping on site. The rest of the session is yours to design.
